Senior Front-end Engineer - MJD Interactive

MJD is looking for a Senior Front End Engineer to be a part of the team recently awarded with back-to-back-to-back San Diego Business Journal’s prestigious “Best Places to Work” award. You enjoy finding cool designs on Dribbble and making them a reality. You have a Codepen profile with some rad CSS and JS animations. You have a passion for new technology and pushing the boundaries on how we communicate through a browser or screen. You will be responsible for building front-end interfaces filled with delight for websites and mobile applications. You might refer to yourself as a Creative Technologist, and that is a good thing.

You’re work is always award-worthy, and you might have a few FWAs under your belt. We work with a few open source CMS systems, mainly Drupal and WordPress. Many of the websites we are currently building have embraced “headless” development, so experience with javascript frameworks like ReactJS and Angular is very important. At MJD we’re lucky enough to work with some of the top brands in the world, and they expect us to dream up things that have never been seen before. That makes this job a heck of a lot of fun. You’re an excellent collaborator, and will work closely with the design team. Your ideas, prototypes and interactive thought leadership will be encouraged in order to push the limits on all projects.
